Please help my hair grow..?

Hello again friends. I really want my hair to grow like it used to . i thought i wantend straight hair so i got a relaxer. I am mixed and i think it was too hard on my hair. I am not bald headed but its only a little below my shoulders. You have to understand that my hair was to my butt when iwas younger. Is there any treatments you know that work. Or a certain product that worked for you. Remember i am a mixed (black/white)women. I am not being rude but the stuff you may do as a white women will not work on me,and i cant put the harsh chemicals in my hair it is not coarse either. its just in between. THANX again!!!

Your hair only grows as fast as it grows..you can't make it grow faster and you can't make it grow long, if you've damaged it.

While your hair grows faster in the summer than in the winter, you still can't make it undamage itself, till your head/hair is ready to heal. So leave it alone and let it heal...keep it clean and conditioned well.

Try looking up scalp med on the Internet. It is expensive, but has good results. You will grow the same hair you had when you were younger, and without surgery.

I totally understand! I have a mixed friend and she's always struggling with her hair. I'm predicting it will take a while to grow out. While it grows, don't style it any way special that can hurt your hair. I hope I helped some!

I was growing my hair out too and when i got some cut my hair stylist told me that my hair would grow faster if i got the split ends off every 3 months or so. It makes hair healthier. Other wise i don't know any other ways other than eating healthy!!

All I know is all those chemical products and straighening irons and hot curlers and blow dryers and conditioners are really hard on the hair and hair follicles. Less is more. Make sure you are getting a healthy diet, plenty of exercise and fresh air. Check with your doctor to make sure your hormone balance is right and that if you're taking medications they aren't causing this problem.

Since you are mixed, the relaxer was probably too much for your hair. My cousin had a similar problem.

There are several things that you can do to grow your hair and also help it get back healthy. The relaxer most likely stripped it of the natural oils it needs to thrive it is suppose to.

1) Make sure you place your hair under little stress. Do not use any flat irons or blow dryers on your hair. This only makes it worse. If you must, do it once a week.

2) Try Beauty 4 Ashes Max Gro System for Ethnic Hair. Since you are biracial it should work great for you without making your hair too heavy. It is all natural, so it won't damage your hair and it contains alot of vitamins and herbs that stop hair loss and promote hair growth. It makes both my and my cousin's hair grow well. My hair also looks better. It costs more because it is natural, but I would give it a try. They give you alot and if you refrigerate it, it lasts for at least 2-3 months. You can find it at wwwdiscoverb4acom.

3) Make sure you are taking your vitamins and eating well. Eat more proteins, like fish, eggs, and beans. Beans are very good because they also contain fiber and vitamin E. Try taking an amino acids supplement and a B Complex, which will have biotion, B5, and niacin...all help the hair grow.

4) Don't cut your hair.
