Does hair grow at a faster rate if you wax it?

Lets say a I wax some hair, would it grow at a faster rate when compared to the rate it originally grew?

Does hair grow at a faster rate if you wax it?

Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hairs will not grow back in the previously waxed area for two to eight weeks. Areas that are repeatedly waxed over long periods of time often exhibit regrowth that is softer and lighter in color and the amount of regrowing hair will be permanently reduced.

Does hair grow at a faster rate if you wax it?

No. It would grow back really slow. Waxing is the best technique to use to stop hair growing back. But in the summer time hair tends to grow back faster than normal rate b/c of temperature but still waxing is the way to go. lol

i dont think so but i know that it grows back thicker and longer as i have had my legs waxed before and it happened so trust me DONT GET THEM WAXED

Does hair grow at a faster rate if you wax it?

It depends on your individual hair growth and the thickness of the hair. My hair grows fast and is thick so it grows back within the week and is just as thick as before. Waxing simply looks better than shaving.

Does hair grow at a faster rate if you wax it?

No, actually it would be slower, because you have plucked the hair from the follicle, not cut it at skin level like a razor would. Hair grows inside the follicle in your skin. Whatever you do on the outside doesn楹搕 affect the growth. However, if you pluck it from the follicle like waxing, it楹搇l reappear after a longer period of time becasue the follicle has to grow a whole new hair. Other methods, like laser, destroy the follicle so that you never grow it again.

Does hair grow at a faster rate if you wax it?

No because the hair is removed from the follicle completely, therfore a brand new hair would grow from that follicle. Sometimes when people wax for many years, the hair follicles become so damaged that a hair cannot grow there anymore as there is no blood supply to that hair follicle - which is a good thing!
