Does Hair grow faster if the head is covered?

From years it has been a convention to cover the head if a person shaves his head for some reasons. It is said that Hair grows faster if the head is covered.

Does covering the head makes hair grow faster?

Covering the head means giving it more heat.

Does heat have any effect on hair growth?

If so please give a scientific reason with some strong proof.

no covering the head like wearing a hat all the time makes it fall out faster because of all the energy flows in the scalp area.

Actually, hair tends to grow faster when it's cold. And something like 80% of a person's body heat is lost through the head. I would imagine wearing a hat would keep the head warmer and so stall the hair regowth.

Or the person might just have a cold head without hair...

Hair grows off of your blood. You learn this is basic cosmetology school. So wearing a hat really has nothing to do with it.
