Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

Like for example, leg or arm hair, if removed and it grows back, it always seems to reach a few millimetres and doesnt grow any longer

is that the same with head hair and any other hair?

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

yes, and no. it grows to a certain weight. thats why some can have really really long hair and others stops halfway down the back.

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

NO BUT IF YOU GET THE DEAD ENDS CCUT OFF IT WILL GROW FASTER......................

your not a girl with a fluffy back are you?

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

Yes it is. The more you cut it off, or shave your hair off completely, the more and faster it will grow back.

Hair growth varies with people.

Some people have hair that grows fast and will continue to grow till it goes to their feet...

Others have hair that stops growing at a certain length...

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

Yes. My hair's been shoulder-length for 5 years now without me ever cutting it. Hmph.

Hair keeps growing and growing -- until it falls out. Some types of hairs fall out faster than other types. For example, an eyelash lives for an average or 150 days before it falls out.

So it's not that leg or arm hairs "reach a certain length and stop". It's that they reach a certain length and have reached the end of their lives and they die and fall out, to be replaced by shorter ("younger") hairs.

Head hair lives quite a long time --- years.

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

no

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

no, that happens to all hairs. when u trim it it grows longer. your hair doesn't stop growing. well at least until a certain age.

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

Once you shave your body hair or trim it/ its going to return faster and longer,it becomes an every day thing, its just a fact of nature,

Head hair will grow until you trim it,it doesn't just stop if your lucky, some louse it some don't

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

I believes that it carries on growing but falls out after a certain time. Which is why it never grows to more than a certain length. The length of the growth phase depends on the part of the body.

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

for head hair its matters what kind of hair you have. if u have split ends all the time they will grow but its gonna take a long time to grow them long. but i dont think itsv the same way you r saying that happens to head hair that happens to your arm and leg hair. hope that helps!

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

head hair never stops it just gets too old and falls out, as to other bodily hair it only seems to reach a certain length, imagine what you'd look like if your pubic hair kept growing!

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

umm not really, i think its just that some peoples hair grows faster than others whose hair grows slower.....but if your hair grows slow, you can buy a shampoo and it makes ur hair grow REALLY fast....like my friend bought it and she used for a while and her hair grew like 3 inches in one month

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

hair grows according to your genetic makeup. Some people can't grow their hair past their ears, while others can grow their hair past their knees.

The trimming has to do with the bottom of the hair not the root. Trimming helps where the "ends" of their hair does not split. It is a "done deal".

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

Trimming it does not make it grow faster as it grows from the roots in your scalp not the ends. Trimming just neatens it and gets rid of split ends

But everyone's hair grows at a different speed and then falls out. Thats why some people have waist length hair and others say they can't grow it past their shoulders.

Does hair grow to a certain length and then stop until it is trimmed?

Speaking from personal experience, my hair is about 1-2 inches about my behind. For some reason, my hair grows in a V in the length in back, and when that V is evident, then my hair is at a point where it stops growing, Then I go and get the majority of the V cut off (approx. 4 inches,) and then my hair starts growing again quickly. Hope this helps you.

yeah ive noticed with guys who shave their hair it grows back really fast. everybodys different. i think you should always get a regular trim to get rids of dead ends, maybe take some vitamin supplements which promote hair growth
