is there any shampoos' or formulas or anything to make your hair grow quicker? i just got my hair cut short and i HATE IT! i want my long hair back. :[ i don't want extentions.. so are there any homemade formulas, shampoos' or anything at all that will make my hair grow quicker? please help me.

Theres nothing that will actually make your hair grow FASTER but you CAN do things to make it stronger, which prevents breakage and helps in grow back healthier (plus when you get it trimmed youll have fewer split ends and theyll have to trim less off). But here are a few t hings that can make it stronger:

1- Use a shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair

2- Use something with a heat protector in it before blow drying or any kind of heat styling

3- If you want, pick up some fish oil pills at your drugstore. Theyre really good for you and totally strengthen your hair.

4- Do a monthly or weekly hair mask or hot oil treatment

5- DONT NEGLECT YOUR ENDS!! I know you want your hair to grow but you HAVE to get it trimmed regularly or your ends will just continue to get more damaged

The only thing that *might* help is to take some hair vitamins and eat a healthy diet.

You can get Biotin, it is a vitamin that makes your hair and nails grow faster, it is like vitamin b7 or b12 or something.

Believe it or not a trim every 6 weeks does somewhat speed up hair growth, just a trim not inches off. Good luck!

First of all, it takes 3 days to get use to a new hair do. Perhaps you will not hate it so much in a couple of days. There are vitamins for hair/skin/nails. I suggest taking those. Shampoos, etc are applied from the outside, and your hair grows from the inside so I would suspect any of these to be a gimmick. Good luck!

I take prenatal vitamins and they seem to be working, I am trying to get my hair to grow out in a hurry also! I would consult your doctor first since prenatals can thin your blood. Or like Rabbit said, biotin is a great product also!
