Does hair grow at the same rate as your finger nails?

Or does it grow faster or slower than our finger nails? Or does it grow fast as our toenails? (fingernails grow 2x as fast as toenails...)

If I could see my nails grow and think that's how much my hair grew, it'll be cool.....

Definitely not! My hair grows so slow, about 2 inches a year. My nails grow pretty fast.
